Hello! My name is Heather Austin. I am the 3rd and 4th grade resource room teacher. In our classroom we will have a variety of differentiated learning centers to meet the needs of ALL children and achieve an active learning community. Students will be encouraged to try lots of new things with a positive attitude and I am expecting many great things from them. My goal is to make this a positive learning experience for all. I look forward to working with you and your child. Together we can make this an exciting, fantastic and successful year! I would like to share some information about myself so we can begin to get acquainted. I am originally from South Lyon, Michigan. I graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with a minor in English. Go Spartans! This is my second year teaching in Arizona.
